Mexico City Friday. Sep. 14-1906 Attended the Congress and the Council meeting. Elected Fritz Freck as President of the Palacio litgo Universalis. Added Ruedemann to the American Com. Also added Bise and Buschhardt as members from Mexico. Lawson, Stanton and Stroy read their papers. In the afternoon escorted Miss Bessem to San delupe. The last session of the Congress was held at the Instituto in the afternoon. In the evening we had our farewell ban- quet at the Belvair restaurant. Before retiring had a chat with Stanton in regard to the broader results of his geologic work. The Jurassic of Wyoming and the Black Hills comes in from the north - the Arctic- but seemingly is connected with the north Pacific. The Jurassic of the south (Texas) seems to pr with Mexico while there seems to be a third fauna along the Pacific border. The Comanche contains more than the Sonora
