Houston - Austin, Texas
January 6 - 1927.
Left Houston for Austin at 8.50 A.M.
Got to Austin at 2.45 P.M. A bright and
fine day. Put up again at Badlers Hotel.
Took a little walk, bought a New York
Times of last Sunday Jan. 2 and the Review
of Reviews.
Wrote a letter to Torushapel and Le Vane.
Spent the evening at Lellards home and
got back to the hotel at 10.30 P.M.
Of the five visiting Professors at Texas
University - Jhumbhart, Keith, Davis and
Harris - I had by far the most students. Towards
the last Davis had but a single student, but
he made up by giving a lecture on Evolution
to least five times before the towns people.
