Houston, Texas Jan 5 Wednesday ordered on time at 7:30 A.M. Put up as usual at Rice Hotel. At ten o'clock called on Ray Baker and talked shop until noon hours. Is simply of the opinion that the San Andreas = Capitane and that Jess = Delaware. The transition northward appears to be un-mistakable. The Chupadera y Canton is too broad a term and includes all of the above. Had lunch with Baker. Spent the afternoon with Miss Ellson talking paleography. She does not at all believe that the Cthamohian in spreading last turns south into Gulf Trump La; she ends the sea in a cul de sac as I used to have it. Then the ground that marine faunas occur with changing south into hallic ocean and apparently part with deposits. Spent the evening at Bakers home.
