Madison Dec 27-28-29-1926. For three days attended the meetings of the G.S.O. The novel program was nothing if a striking new order, Chamberlain address fine done in the Clevetown and by others was no mean ally well done for anyone and all the more so for a man over 50 years old. His mind was bright as ever. Saw many people and enjoyed the meeting. The banquet was fine and Leith was frank earnest. He was a right good and humorous one. It was all over at 10:30; began about 7:30 P.M. Wednesday evening Tom helped take me and Dunton to the Madison Club to dinner and see Prof. Leroy who later on spoke on the Siski Desert. He spoke to the Santa Cruz Club of 18 men. Tuesday was cold and down to zero. A light snow Monday night. Wednesday was star cold.
