Vancouver March 12 - Saturday At 9 A.M. started out for the Univ. of British Columbia and found it nearly eight miles out from the center of the city. From that car to city limits and then bus to the University. After going into three buildings found Professor Williams. Lata Druta [illegible] came in and then I must call on President Klinck, for remrs from German a Dutch Stroll. He is a kidgirt interested in Agriculture. Then to the county club for lunch and finally a long drive to the east and the mainland to see the Coast Range and the high elevatd Juranic bathyl,th y [illegible]. The drive was into the Capilano canyon and gorge. Upon the granodinite rests the first water Escene deposits with small coal beds - these now have an undulating dip towards Pujet Sound of about 20 degrees. Informally studying those are the Plei Streone deposits now elevated about 650 feet above sea-level. Had dinner with the Williams family
