Arrived at Morris 5.20 P M. Spent the evening with Mr L E Daniels who is staying at the same hotel with me. March 11-98 Morris Ill. Spent the morning in looking over Mr Daniels animal material. He has quite a number of insects, many orthoptera and spiders, a few fishes and seals, one amphibia and numerous crustacea. All of this material he has bequeathed to the U.S. National Museum in the 5th paragraph of his will. The paragraph now mentions only his "fossil insects" but he explained that he meant all of his animal material. I thus asked him to change the word "fossil insects" to "fossil animal remains," He said he would do
