Left Louisville for St. Louis at
8 A.M.
The L. E. & St. Louis pass through
the under part of Edwarville, just before
reaching this place which is a short
distance west of New Albany then we
[illegible] the River.
Just east of [illegible] the St. Louis red
chute appears which is a cut a little west
the blue armation limestone of the Rockhill
a branch appears. North in 22 mile west of
Louisville.
Sawing lights during the day.
Arrived in St. Louis at 6.20. Took
a room at the Edison Europe Hotel.
After supper called on Dr. Hantroch.
