Collecting in or near here and over the loc. in evident all the Patrol of Heenstrike are concluded to move farther west. By 3.15 P.M. we are away for the red beds showing about 4 miles west. The brown fungiforms stones on "Ctandredille stri" seen here at 1640 feet. They have conifers and ferns. We arrive at what we regard as Heenstrike's Patrol at 4.45 P.M. This locality is quite different from the last in that the horse shales are not evenly cut on hill sides. Collected a little but nothing of importance. While and Sticking at 5 P.M. take a swim plunge. They wade into the water and in a few seconds an only pit. Both yell with wild indignation to keep up courage. The day was a perfect one and gives more comfort to the last few days. In numerous directions.
