out for the Hike. At Ritterswil we will learn more on to further proceedings. Supper was announced at 8.30 P.M. Again we had a splendid meal. Retired at 11 P.M. A clear sun-shine day Aug 10-97 Tuesday. Kork, Northwest Greenland Rose after tea we were served in the room and by 8 A.M. we were packing our provisions on the boat. At 9 breakfast was served. It was pretty much like the one of yesterday with the addition of native 'home eggs.' These eggs are larger than hens eggs, more pointed and the albumen is more transparent. Good eating. At 10.30 Dr. and Mrs. Knutzon arrange to say good bye and a pleasant journey. Give a swell. They accompany me to the boat and by 11.30 A.M. order is given to our steamer Kork. Before turning out of the small Ommed Bey and around the point we again see the Knutzon's driving on a good bye. The natives attended fairly close and without interruption. By 1.30 we are at the place called Kork, the vicinity were Dr. Knutzon gets his coal. There is one meteor house here but no one has lived here for some
