Tuesday Sep. 16-1902 McInticks, Va. Started out with a buggy for Mountain Grove. After passing through the gap just S of Germantown, and after two miles across the Middle Ocrinco came upon the following exposure over the three forks of the wagon road. All the here roll looks so much alike that Ostrin mistook it from Oxidley from Beeroff. Its sandy nature here is striking, more so than at Crumpton. Across Jackson mill and up the slope of Boiler ridge the Oxidley are most of the Beeroff are shown. Here also the two formations look alike. In the Oxidley str.
