When lentacles are developing anus is beginning to appear funicular strands near zoosial wall appear more dense - just a feature of slide??? Membranipora grows rapidly & therefore can get it on the glass slides. Electra grows v. slowly & it's v. difficult to get it transferred from thin red alga onto glass slide.
