Cincinnati still retains its great local beauty, but then is little beauty about its dirty buildings. Advertising in liderns, and the old town Belle Rivere, and Queen City of the West has gone. Depression with a very large recent increase from the South. In the middle of the day downtown is fearfully crowded, all my traffic sidetracks but he shuts us out. I can see little charm in my once be- loud Cincinnati. The dominance of the business world is now too evident, and the ideas are dollars, business quantity production, smiles and graft. Grammar rules, and the young are in evidence as the gr-getters and owners of all things. Old times ideas has largely flown.
