7/26/02 The Paleosol level has channels of white arkosic lithomitic coarse to grit sized clasts interbedded w/ soilified clays. There are limonite spherule horizons also present in the sand channels. At least 4 paleosols were observed in the 10-15 m. of the Paleosol zone { Kirk just got a reading on of ~43,000 on a paleosol in Brazil which would give a minimum duration of 160,000 yrs for the zone.
