This series of locs.
WAS THAT the D₁/D₂
bdy does falls below the
paleosol zone by about
10 m.
This means that the base
of D₁ is actually in the
late PALEOCENE!
Tschudy had a paper in
70's claiming P₆ pollen
from some locs in the
Denver Basin and this would
explain these seemingly anomalous
results.
