She has a rich contralto voice - she still w'd like to have me host in N.Y. The cards which she gave me in August 1915. Called again on Dr Bryden & had pleasant visit with him & his wife. She sat up for a little but today has been in bed six weeks with the fever (Typhoid?) [illegible] This is the great holy day of denmark which combines the holy days for all the saints of the catholic calendar. The Den mark is a Lutheran country. Store was not open & service was held in the little church. I attended it. Reading by an Esterian & singing Not very in Harmony - I was the only white person present except a small child in its nurse's arms. Martina Maestian Fluh is step mother nurse in the doctor's family.
