54 Have gotten from Kolodenuma 5 beals (3 1 wh. fed to dog there) + stric meat for the tea 24 April Tuesday - B. calm, not cold a lovely day and we are to start on, but the seems to be no hurry. We did not have coffee till [illegible] 8:15 and the young men were not dressed till nine o'cl. Etookacooog is going to start out with us. I asked K about this but K said that it was E's own affair - I've wonder how 6 can be accommo- dated in that little tent tonight - After nine o'clock last evening K be- gan boiling some bear-cat meat that Etookacooog had given him to take the place of bean meat stolen by one 7 Kolodenuma dogs out 4 our tipoo. About ten o'cl we were eat- ing it - very delicate + much like veal in flavor. 9 line zachman and Tookasby, 1 pipe tobacco + 1 box matches. about 10-30 K's Kahinwotik was foaled and sliding down toward the dogs and by 10-45 we were off.
