Reached foot south side 4:10 - OK 6-7 stop on sea ice near <Seelchaddi for coffee> Met six kahmoatiks in middle of Sonntag Bay - Koloutiema + Elaytoo, Teddingewa, Metik, Jo- hunga, Pooallunah + Oodlool^↑ arr Peteranik about 10 h.m. Tatiak + Ahpela have come back with 12 in at Metik too Accom + 9 left in morning Othboot + Ahdekahningka sledges Ogwinkisoo 25. III - Temp 7-40a - 15° got away soon after 8 o'clock. on south side next headland the men saw some bones - Stopped & Othloqiah told me + within an hour it had been stoned & boiled eaten. Must have stood here 1/2 hr reached nearer 1 h.m. Tent 24° - 13
