28 onward Crimson cliffs, drift had occasionally. Kolotenyway got tangled up in traces and [illegible] Rounded Cape York at 6 p.m., stopped ten minutes or so while K. went up into a terrace 30 ft above sea to visit the grave of his grandmother, who is buried there. Reached Igloos at 6:20 - Ahngyelots + Oogrial + families here. Opened up Ahnggodibloasoq's igloo for our accommodation - Not much food here, but got beef meal for dogs and chunks of bear meat for ourselves in exchange for two tins pemmican given Ahnggodibloasoq at Oonana. 7 April - Hazy day and considerable wind outside. Kolotenyway says: Perhaps we can go on tomorrow. Slept well last night - We came down from Oonana in 4 1/2 hours of driving without allowing for stops to entangle traces and rest the dogs - Kolotenyway has gone after some Kaminik grass - Not much meat here but we have gotten the chunks of bear meat and the dog feed (1/2 seal) that Ahnggodib bloasoq said he could have in exchange for the two tins pemmican I gave him.
