This must be fully 2,000 feet above the sea. Forward southeast - a magnificent view is presented along Lake Tasersnute, which is 15 miles long by 2-3 miles wide and flanked by great mountains & precipices, the ice- capped ice cap rising in distant back. ground. On one cheek slope the sledge gave sudden lurch when threw side off - The Sledge was on its side dragging me along but foot ([illegible]) kept it from stopping the team before any injury was inflicted and the incident furnished only a good laugh all around.
