Center lake sqduct cut thru Rabbit Mt. Top, at Discont., base 3rd SS, measured down Disconformity A 2.0-3.0 Argillaceous siltstone, yellow weather grades to interval below B 17.0 Argillaceous siltstone and silty claystone. Light gray to greenish gray with yellow weather stains. This unit thins laterally where SS thickens C 7.5-8.0 Sandstone, fine to medium grained massive, light gray, x bedded. Weak Fe brown. Thickens in cut to almost 20' at expense of interval above. D. 7.0 Interbedded fine gr SS and silty greenish clay. Sample I is from the clay. Laterally clays thin and SS coalesce, then SS out and it goes into clay. E 7.0 Sandstone as in C., it thens out w/cut into vericagted red/purple comes in again's side above red joint where F 14.0 purple claystone silty clay + gravel, siltstn. A thickness guess G. At least Green gravel, siltstone + clay, 25' exposed yellow stain, grading down to deepest cut into vericagted purple beds * only brick-red zone in cut. 8.
