A "Dakota clay, 2 Outcrop of SS, N. 20 W., 80° NE to ⊥ to high SW, has bentonite layer on NE side—then siltstone, then clay. 3 Pierre shale crop, poor but unmistakable. 4 Lyh? Greenros shale in fault contact with Lytic, Lyons, or Fourtezin? 5 Ditch in Morrison—no contacts with others 6 Morrison 1st cut. 7 Fault—Pierre against Dakota? 8 N 21° E ⊥ , 1/2 to ? Pierre bentonite 9 Dug hole—looks dk greenish to gray clay, Morrison? Just to east of it is Fe cemented breccia— probably on fault 45
