S. side Deer Creek. At this point Dakota
clay goes under cover. It has fairly
broad outcrop zone but no good exposures
between here & Deer Cr. Some ss in it
but how much not known. Worth some
exploration.
Clays upslope irregular, broken up by
lense of lb. ss & silty clay, thin-bedded
cross-bedded which can be seen to
lense in & out from N side of
drew (see old photo [5]).
