unit below. 9,1 S2udstone, massive, celtic, soft, weathers yellowish. 2.6 Clzystone, light gray, silty 47.0' Szudstone, massive, x bed, celtic, Fe pitted in lower part, cult throughout in thin streaks. 26.0 Slope wash over red + gray clystone with some red silty beds. Occur clasty + siltyclsty with yellowish stain at base. May be more ss about 20' down, but too much floot to be sure. 11. Section of the 2nd Gleucziyu shale, Here 1st Gleucziyu channels top & this prob. accounts for absence of bentonitic bed that comes in along strike to N. 8.8 Black clay shale with thin layers ferruginous shale scattered through it becomes more silty in lower part. Base on 6" bed ferruginous sandy siltstone, Sample 1 = lower half Sample 2 = upper half. 12 Hogback capped by ss over 1st glen clay, then, descending, beach which here has flinty soapy layer near top, over white siltstone more clay below. Then main body is+ss, underlain by 2nd clay over. 20
