Some friable zones with clay pellets + thin flakes about 8', below this very friable more massive 4.8 wash covering more of friable ss Lower 4" are med. gr. SS in discont contact with beds below Discont. 4.0- Upper foot fine gr. ss, argill, white, yellow + red pink striae, grading to silty qrzy, stained ss above clstu. Obscured. 9. Outcrop of second clay, under prominent cliff of 1st Glencvern. Contains porcellanite- like layer in upper part. 10. Section of Lytic. Upper even bed part 3rd SS 20.0 Lower more massive, litgr-white fine-wed ss, part of 3rdss, yellowish to yellow brn weath, coarse st base Discont. 21.0 Chiefly variegated claystone, pink + white, with some faint stained sandy layers about 5.0 from top. 12.4 Sandstone, fine gr, scattered small pebbles local, massive x-12m. weath yellow br to pinkish, is litgr. 6.0 Variegated silty claystone qrzy, to red + yellow stria, becomes sandy at base + grades into 19.
