F2 Sample 2 Top SS over main bed (14) Hedley mine. re-opened old clay hole in 1952. William Hedley, subleasing from Waterton Sand and Clay Co, they work together. Main bed mined, one below it not mined. (15) Just after Main bed crosses to west of crest, going south, both main bed and one below it are thick. Lower one shows good clay float. (Sample 1) over limited strike crge a local pocket that, as usual, corresponds to low point in hog back. (16) N 25 W 55° E Main bed going back on E side after holding crest for distance. One clay bed under it, between about 6' SS + top of 1st Glen SS. Lower clay here ± 4', but thins to foot of so as SS above thins also about 50' to S. Here base Main clay about 4' from top 1st Glen with 2'ss 2'shelly beds. Lower split out, then in again here. (17) 60
