J 26.7 Sandstone, massive x lzm fine to coarse, local layers of cal, ch+-qtzite. Unconf. K 2.3 Clzystone, weathers light gray, some pink + yellow streaks. Fresh is gray-green-gray, sandy; grades to ss, fine qs + of variably thickness. Locally entire interval is fine srgyll, y! km worth ss except for few inches at top.. Whole gives appearance of larched zone? silty & sandy red clzystone and srgyll. Siltstone. L, 8.4 (Colors greyish red purple 5RP 4/2 and moderate red chief ones latter predominates 5RR 6/4) Some Fe yellow, bzuds at top And white ss + base. Locally a red fine ss leuso ± 1' about 1 ft from base. M 7.4 Sandstone, massive, x bedded, fine to med + coarse with fine calite zones of chert + qtz? At top surface is black-wetly zone Fe conc., locally, in bzuds. Note - immediately to S. sandstone at J. lifts and fresh section (see Kodachrm shows, clsty loc. shaly 0.4 to 1.0 + Dk-brn gray shale .6 to 3.0 fine SS = SS in K above then red beds. N. 79.5 Clzystone some washed over contains red, chiefly, some greenish 53
