December 23 -1926 Started in California at one P.M. Left Penn. Station in Cincinnati at 4:05 P. M., the Cincinnati Limited Cost New Haven to Cincinnati $ 35.62 Extra fare 3.60 but as he train was run one hour late was retailed 1.20 Dec 24-1926 Had lunch at Bilton House with Albert and then spent the afternoon at Philo. At 6:30 we are in Norwood at Albert home. Found all about as well as could be expected. Found light rain one day. Got my ticket to Chicago $ 14.25 Dec 25 -1926 Left Norwood at 10:30 A.M. and at 11:30 came a family reunion of the Johnuchets at Philo house in Price Hill. Had a good time talking all sorts of things. Rain slut and finally snow all the day. Was to leave at 9 P. M. in Chicago, but did not get started until 9:45 P.M. = had over time.
