Los Angeles, Saturday, Feb 5 Spent most of the day with Bernalda showing him my Paleogeographic maps. After changes were made, but upon the whole he had little to object to or correct. Back of the Cetaceans, he had little at first hand. Had lunch at his home, and then drove around Pasadena. Los Angeles, Sunday, Feb 6. A splendid day. Went out in the morning to Exhibition ground and walked around the Museum. Had C. H. Giffney to dinner at the Stowell Hotel and then we talked Paleogeo- graphy until 5:30 P.M. He made changes in my maps of Jurassic and Cretaceous Time. Also gave me the faunal zones based mainly on mammals, Taymia and Aucella. He has two or three papers of the Lower Crust which he had. I urged him to get at a preliminary statement for publication, and to send it to me in April. Corrected my maps as far as I could for.
