On wheeling my large suite case found a large corner completely torn away leaving off the entire left lining. Called the attention of the baggage master [illegible] and he gave me a slip to get back at the Tucson depot office. The latter made write on my address as follows: Professor Charles Churchet, Yale University New Haven, Conn. The case was in good order at Austin when wheeled it, accordingly it was done from Austin to San Antonio, or the transfer in San Antonio, or on the S.P.R.R. from San Antonio to Tucson. The ticket got hand in my complaint and said the railway would write me to my home address. He al- did when I buy a new case to take a receipt for it and to send it to the companies office. But ready to leave Tucson and at 7.45 (20 mins late) be back in [illegible] for San Diego and Los Angeles. Have a large sleeper, I go via Canto, Calexico, El Centro to San diego.
