Houston, Texas June 5 Wednesday bided on time at 7:30 A.M. Put up as usual at Rice Hotel. At ten o'clock called on Ray Baker and talked shop until noon hours. Is strongly of the opinion that the San Andreas = Capitan and that Jess = Delaware. The transition northward appears to be un- mistakable. The Chupadera of Harton is too broad a term and includes all of the above. Had lunch with Baker. Spent the afternoon with Miss Ellison talking paleogeography. She does not at all believe that the Cahuachina is spreading last turns south into Gulf trump La; she ends the sea in a cul de sac as I used to have it. Then he ground that marine faunas occur north changing south into haeliik ocean and apparently salt water deposits. Spent the evening at Bakers home.
