Deep Cut on Chesapeake x Delaware Canal
2' below contact w Columbia gravel... upper 1-1.5' yellow brown weathering zone in Merchantville then a dark greenish grey mic, glauconitic siltst below.
This is in a small pit on upper side of upper access road about 1/4 mi east of Summit Bridge across the CB&O canal
Sample dug from 1-2' into outcrop face.
