Tucson, Jan 17-1924, Thursday Worked all day on the forum paper, but a little time Le Vere out Sundays. Jan. 18-1924. Friday. Worked all morning on the Forum paper. In the afternoon walked out to the limit, and called on Rausme and Strzanne. Then wrote letters to Le Vere, David White, Gilly, and Baker. Jan. 19-1924. Saturday. After breakfast spent 1 1/2 hours south Tucson, in the vicinity of the Catholic Mission on South Light St. All about here the streets are graded through a fair lot of Caliche. Gathered several samples to show the nature. Here the caliche is essentially all an earthy, erroneous limestone deposited
