Houston, Jan 8 1924 Tuesday.
Called on Heussen and his lady (Mrs Lane), for an order, and put in the morning with them.
Then had lunch at the University Club with about a dozen of the Houston geologists. Baker gave the lunch. Present Rumple, Heussen, Pratt, Applein and his wife (Win Richards), Mrs Hnila, Mrs Ellisor, and several others.
Then to the Southern Pacific R.R. Building to see the Pal. Lab. of Dr. C.A. Seumble. Saw the Butler geologist Van der Gracht turned up. He is now connected with the Trail and Co., and is of course much interested in Cush-man.
In the evening then was a gathering of the clan at Baker's home.
