Cincinnati, O., Jan 1-1924 Tuesday.
Arrived at home late (8.35) because the depot is too small to get the train in and out on time. Albert and his daughter was there to meet me, and in that car to take me to 3937 Raymond Ave., Norwood, O. Passed through Elm Park on the way grand when I did my first collecting of birds.
At 12.30 we were at Emmas and for a family reunion and dinner. Talked, laughed, listened to Victrola and Radio. Jean made little out of the latter since my hearing is too bad to get a connected whole. Emmas radio resides in paint and the atmospheric noise are enough to make difficulty for me.
It is the first day of winter at this moment is down to 24°
At 10.30 we were back again to Albert's home and soon we are all retired.
