Marathon, March 20-1924, Thursday.
Took a Ford and a boy Chaffee over to Osceola to get the ammonites, gotten here first by Sudden etc. Got about 60 specimens, of which about 40 are good. They are all on hand. The associated fossil looks to me like Cider.

With the same Ford went about 18 miles northwest to the junction of the Road Canyon into the Bellam's canyon. Came here to get the good Ammonites. Got one hundred or more. All are good pseudomorphs, and got Bice had no better material.
