Saturday before the Lecture
SCHUCHERT LECTURE WILL BE WEDNESDAY
Dr. Charles Schuchert, lecturer in stratigraphy at the University of Arizona and a member of the faculty of Yale university, will deliver an illustrated lecture on "Giant Reptiles of the Mediaeval World" Wednesday night at 8 o'clock in the university auditorium. E. R. Riesen, who is in charge of the Wednesday evening lecture series announced yesterday.
The lecture will be open to the public and free.
Dr. Schuchert, a visiting professor with the university, is head of the department of stratigraphy of Yale. He obtained the slides for the lecture to be given Wednesday from the Yale visual education service. He is known as an excellent speaker.
The week following, the Desert staff of the university will stage a program of entertainment and educational numbers. The members of the yearbook staff are working on the program at present, and promise something new, according to Frank Southgate, business manager.
