3 Unit #4 Shale, very dark grey, fissile, 6.80m poorly exposed in wash & stove. Ripple cross laminated at base then grades Unit #5 to Parallel laminated v/f SS, with 1.37m some ripple cross & trough cross laminated in middle Grades ~~~> > => === in 4cydes, The x laminated section at top varies from SS switches from upper to lower flow regime in cycles. Interpr: SS sheet located on margin of turbidite apron or fan. Slide photo of bedding cycles Not bioturbated except in upper 5cm or some v. fine vert tubes Unit #6 Shale, slightly silty, very dark grey, 2.95m poorly fissile: More blocky & massive to top.
