The sequence at South Bay is
predominantly lacustrine or at
least starved of clastics.
The predominating sequence is
SS - mudst cross strat. carb sh.-
limm, marlst, to SS.
Marlst freq follows the dep
of SS.
This is 1000 m at most, in
thickness probably more like
3000 m. A very different
facies of the Eureka
Sound Fm if indeed it
is at all, should probably
be considered a separate
Fm.

marine at S end of
Wolf Valley.
