"Nov. 18. Sunday. Spent the afternoon with Dr. Brown looking up Geystodon. Found two new skeletons on Danforth Mitchell land which give promise of good results. Otherwise bones are abundant but are so weathered as to have little value. So far I have seen at least twelve skeletons in less than two miles of fallen strata in an east and west direction.
