flight receipt and ticket for Shubuta.
Arriving in Shubuta at 8.40 A.M.
I try and get a wagon to Creola to get
my baggage there and to settle my
account. Return to Shubuta at
7.15 P.M.
Nov. 15-96 Wednesday.
Shubuta to Meridian.
Receiving a letter last night from
Olimpson I concluded to make another
effort to collect union in the
Chickasawhay river. Saw there
today ground the river too high and
a good Shubuta creek to find
any shells. A negro boy said he
would collect some for me, his
name is Scott Conner. Save him two
hards.
Shipped the bird in the morning prepaid.
