The lower magnesian fossils there
are from a sheet band about 30
feet from the top of the 120 foot
division. Elsewhere I did not
see a fossil.
The Trenton shales are here
exposed as soars thin over at
this before two year ago. They
are cementing and hardly do
but thick folded by a thick
series of shelly limestone.
On a creek I saw some
Rectocellus showing that the
Galen or true Trenton soon
follows the green shale band.
