Sept 2 - 1904 Joint directions in Mathew Glen The E and W joints are near. N. 23 deg E +/- 15 deg Q. W E. 16 to 25 deg N Just below the Grand Plain Core in Glen Cathedral in bed J strata in Mathews Glen is a Calcite by 1/2 to 3" or about 1/4" thick and is, by, 20 deg. Way as seen for 20 when it separates the water. Above this numerous Calcite Arks are seen and particularly just above Shadow Gorge. In the other end of Glen in Glen Cathedral in bed J strata is a single block fault with a small sketch of it. The throw is 14". The right hand or western joint, the fault is very jagged and curved. The eastern being angular, the direct of two joints being 22 deg N +/- 15 deg Q and 3 deg W +/- 15 deg Q. Covered Shaly S.S. Shale The block's width at natural edge wider out to about 15' or 20' of top, going about 40' above.
