Transcription
7-10-38 bright green v shining above, somewhat paler and shining beneath. Petioles slender, to 2.5 cm. Stipules very narrow linear, 6mm long, all persistent to date. Lvs ovate, acute or somewhat acuminate at apex, pointed (not rounded) at base. Largest 3.5 x 3.5 cm. Sharply serrate, the teeth ascending or spreading (not tall in- curved). No conspicuous glands but possibly 2 tiny (20x) projections (like tips of teeth) at very base of blade or top of petiole may be considered glands. The very newest growth always signs of fuzzy hairs. Half buds unrolling to slow unfolding etc. Apex & almost collected, the lateral spurs on the tallest shoot (not col- lected) is a fully unfolding Tr.B.H. thimble (prob- bly without justification) of peas tree. Mid-vein if strong v distinct to tip; lateral veins distinct only toward their bases & fade-ing out toward the margins off, less distinct beneath than on upper surface of lf. 7-11-38 Thalictrum polygamum Muhl G 400; BvBII/21 Fl.
