R.B.K. has been forming (observing barbate) that the
"white bridle" at Kilnwood are all of this species
not B. populifolia as at first hastily assumed.
[7-6-38 Lvs frm B. populifolia on Brimstone Hill, H.H. of with
no. from Kilnwood. Not all the same.

B) North edge of drive (grasses growing among these gave
false effect & sterile culms so that when collecting
R.B.K. remembered B.W.II 357 #125-6.)
A&B seem to be the same. General effect very like
?? C. laxiflora 7-6-22 v25 except that the obliquely winged
larculin is not at all wing margined. And
perigynia 2.5mm, plumply elong now.
R.B.K. wonders if this could be C granularis Muhl var.
