The only stem consists of abudes prostrate runners 1¼ in from base to a small toothed bract then 3in to half (with stipules like the bract just mentioned)* then 4in to the unfolding tip. Runner not rooting. *fl. in axil of old peduncle 1½ in (much longer than fl which is in early stage). Petals more oblong than P.c. and sepals or bracts narrower.
