Pedicels 2-3 times as long as the darkisle, hairy, persistent scale. Gland very short. Capsule appressed oily, tapering to long beak, almost a quite twice as long as pedicel. Style none. Young twigs v lvs. finely & softly hairy (20x). Lvs rugose, yellowish-green above, grey-green below, obtuse or almost clefted with tips twisted [Curtis p 61. 2nd lf from base is best ill.], edges entire, blade narrowed to base. Stipules none. [6-30-38 lvs fallaises. Dull grey v like grained leaves above. Prominently reticulate veins beneath. Some lvs almost glabrous beneath; others softly wooly. All Keel Trees p 402 very good] 6-1-38 Antennaria Parlinii Fernald G 820; BvB III 450 ♀ fl. In general vicinity of Cryptotetris. 18 in high. lvs exactly as desc. Purple hairs on st. have no glands as far as R BK can see. 6-1-38 Antennaria neodiorica Greene G 822; BvB III 451 ♀ & fl. Open space north of house, shortly below spring. ♀ & ♂ plant 1/2 in high. Bracts & invol with white tips broadly toothed (see ill. BvB of A. canadensis. But lvs not glabrous v bright green above). Lvs somewhat more two much less so those beneath. Lvs shaped like ll [BvB] of A. n - or A. c - and plicate. Stolon on ♂ plant slender (3 in long) with lvs only at tips,
