No D drive, in from middle power pole where the art? medially clearing merges into woods. (Seems same species as 7-31-38 near line v further east in same clearing). Habit distinctly stoloniferae. the stems decumbent & rooting (not "erect" as least for C. Ammonum Keeler and Peterson). Buds v petioles v veins beneath & youngest lvs have appressed short brown hairs. Older lvs the usual reflexed white hairs. Petal 3- by 1+ mm with sides less hair? than remembered for ?C. Ammonum 7-15. 7-29-38 Aster novae-angliae L. G 806; Bv BIII 417 Fl. No. edge of drive Unmistakable. 7-29-38 Aster umbellatusa Mill G. G 814 = Doellingeria umbellata Neees Bv BIII 443 Fl.
