Seems same in all particulars except marginal nerve hair, a few hairs at base 7-21-38?? Carexa stolonifera Michx G624; BvBI 662 10 ft & fs. A few tips [illegible] drive in the soft clearing west glenose Collected 10of with C. ? 7-15-38, 400'v Anigo v but like spec thimbl at first to be C. a - and Anigo brighter & more lining. But as the 7-15- specimen late (examination its fs) seemed likely to be C. Amomum Mill this may be too. [see 7-24-38 7-21-38? Clematis virginiana L G462; BvBI 122 16 ff 12 ft. Common in woods. Only other poss C. verticillaris D.C. (which seems unlikely to be so common) decid. [both species WF NY. Fig XVII v Pl 73] 10-20-38 Fz. Tails fs 3 & 3.5cm. These plants must have bloomed after August 1st 23- 7-26-38 Habennaria psycodes Sw G 559: Blephariglottis Rydb. BvBI 659. Fl. Brought by Mrs. Keen from rd bet Fairacre & Twin Lakes. Fine specimen. Spikes 3.5cm wide. Lip 1cm wide. Raceme (most) 2 in high, dense, many-fls wth about half of the fls open, half in bud. [not to hope] to be planted by Mrs. K. 23 7-26-38 Serapias Helleborine L G 918; BvBI 568 Fl Brought by Mrs. Keen. (one) 3 plants found in
