Pappus silvery (hardly tinged with brown) v decid- uous Achene very dark v white slender throug out def attenuate towards apex. [5-10-39 FLv fr. Species queried only because infl less thick wate v less def white v green than remembered elsewhere. But no other species in M. i.e. spikelets single all alike, glumes broadly winged, sterile lemma 2 (almost half as long as fertile lemma which is 3.5-4 mm) Note also glumes not acuminate v lateral nerves not near margins to prob not # 40 = 5] [see P. minor 5-7-39
