Crown Point or along Island Route. General look very like ill#241 (M) but more spreading or prostrate Nutlets (prob full size) not as rough as ill#241 Desc in key M 432 good and key T856 seems to leave nodout genera [3-20-39 Fl v adv. fr. at J.H. coast. 4-4-39 Pacific Beach. Crilla & Stammers. 3-9-39 Senecio californicus DC. T1155; M 599 Fl. Crown Point or along Island Route. St simple 8-12 cm., mostly with one head. Plant more delicate v leaves- rower than Fig 304. M. Rays fl with blade 7 mm long. Invol. has well known look of S. brevis dark tipped v with a few dark tipped short bracts at base (M says "quite naked at base" I say "nearly naked at base"). Stigma subgloboae. Contrary to key M147 which prob has interchanged the words "lineas" v subgloboae"
